This two part series will introduce the participant to the theoretical and practical components of crafting the many kinds of brewed coffee. It will provide an education in the fundamentals of perfecting the grind and mastering various apparatus, including chemex, cold drip, aeropress and syphon. You will be learn all the essential brewing techniques required to be a gun Brewer at home or at work!

Mastering the Craft of Brewed Coffee will cover:

  • Basic Introduction to Coffee
  • Brew Ratio and Extraction
  • Water temperature and quality
  • Sensory Evaluation of Brewed coffee
  • Preparing Basic Drinks

Conducted by former Queensland Barista and Brewers Champion Kelsey Carr in the Wolff College of Coffee.

The course is run over two consecutive evenings starting at 6:00pm and concluding at 8:00pm.
